RVYield Privacy Policy
Dorff Ventures LLC, doing business as RVYield Effective date: September 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Dorff Ventures LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company doing business as RVYield ("RVYield," "we," "us," or "our"), collects through our website at rvyield.com, our host portal, our emails, and our related services (together, the "Service"), and what we do with it. It applies to hosts who subscribe, to visitors who use our website or free estimate tool, and to business owners we contact about the Service.
Summary
- We collect the business, rig, and pricing details you give us so we can make pricing recommendations for your rigs.
- We don't sell your information, and we never share your rig details, rates, calendar, or booking results with other hosts.
- Calendar links you give us are encrypted, never written to our logs, and used only to read which dates are booked.
- Payments are handled by Paddle. We never see or store your full card number.
- You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support@rvyield.com.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information: your name, business name, contact email address, and password. We store only a secure hash of your password, never the password itself.
- Hub location: the city, state, and ZIP code (or address) you use as the base for your rigs. We use it to find events within range and to calculate distances.
- Rig details: for each vehicle or trailer you add (a "rig"), details such as type, year, make, model, length, and sleeping capacity.
- Pricing and fee preferences: your baseline nightly rate for each rig, and your preferences for fees and add-ons such as delivery, prep, and generator packages.
- Calendar export links: if you connect calendar sync, the export link (often called an iCal or .ics link) for each calendar you choose to connect. See Section 3.
- Booking outcomes: whether dates we recommended were booked, and any booking details you choose to report to us, such as the nightly rate you received.
- Communications: messages you send us, including support requests and replies to our emails.
- Free estimate tool: if you request an estimate on our website, the rig type, size range, and sleeping-capacity range you select, your ZIP code, your email address, and whether you agreed to receive follow-up emails (including the date and time you agreed).
Information collected automatically
- Log and device information: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and the date and time of requests. We use this to run and secure the Service, prevent abuse (including limiting how many estimates can be requested), and fix problems.
- Cookies: see Section 7.
Information from other sources
- Paddle: our payment provider tells us the status of your subscription (for example, active, past due, or canceled), your plan, and identifiers we use to match payments to your account.
- Public business information for outreach: see Section 6.
- Public event and market data: we gather publicly available information about events, venues, and lodging to generate recommendations. This data describes events and markets, not individuals.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide the Service, including recommendations, estimates, listing text, and digest emails for your rigs;
- avoid recommending dates that are already booked;
- manage your account and subscription and communicate with you about them;
- measure whether recommendations led to bookings, so we can improve the Service;
- respond to support requests;
- send marketing emails, including estimate-tool follow-ups if you agreed to receive them and the outreach described in Section 6, with a way to opt out in every message;
- secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service; and
- comply with the law.
We may also create aggregated or de-identified information, for example "hosts who followed our recommendations for an event booked a given share of recommended dates." Aggregated information does not identify you, your business, or your rigs. We may use it to improve the Service and in our marketing.
3. Calendar export links
A calendar export link works like a read-only key to your calendar: anyone who has it can see your booked dates. We treat it that way.
- Encrypted: we encrypt calendar links before storing them.
- Never logged: we never write calendar links to our logs or error reports.
- Read-only: we only read your calendar. We cannot change your calendar, your listings, or anything on any marketplace.
- Dates only: we use only the booked and blocked date ranges. Calendar feeds sometimes include event titles, notes, or renter names; we do not store those details.
- Your control: you can remove a calendar link from your account at any time. If you think a link has been exposed, most marketplaces let you generate a new one, which stops the old one from working.
- When you leave: when your subscription ends, we stop reading your calendars and delete your stored calendar links within 30 days.
4. AI processing
We use an AI model provider (currently Anthropic) to help write recommendation text and listing copy and to sort replies to our emails. We send the provider only what a task needs, such as rig specifications and event details, or the text of an email reply. We do not send it passwords, calendar links, or payment information. The provider processes this data under contractual terms that limit how it may use it.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We never share your rig details, rates, calendar, or booking outcomes with other hosts.
We share information only as follows:
- Service providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of the information to providing services to us. They currently include Render (hosting and data storage), Paddle (payments and subscription billing), Anthropic (AI processing), Google (business email and business-location search), Cloudflare (domain services and bot protection), and email-sending providers for our outreach, such as Smartlead.
- Paddle as merchant of record: Paddle is the reseller of our subscriptions. When you check out, you give your payment details directly to Paddle, and Paddle's own privacy notice governs how it handles them.
- Legal and safety reasons: to comply with law or legal process, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RVYield, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.
- At your direction: when you ask us to share information.
6. Business outreach
We email businesses that rent out RVs and campers to tell them about RVYield. To do this, we collect business contact information from public business listings (for Google's listings, we keep only Google's identifier for the listing) and from each business's own website: the business name, the contact name and email address published there, the city, and the website address. We do not collect contact information from rental marketplaces or social media, and we do not buy email lists.
Every outreach email identifies RVYield, includes our mailing address, and contains an unsubscribe link. That link is our opt-out mechanism: use it and we stop emailing you right away. We keep your email address on a do-not-contact list so that we never contact you again. Please use the link rather than replying, because replies are not processed as opt-out requests. You can also ask us to delete the rest of your information (see Section 10).
7. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies, all needed to run the Service: a session cookie that keeps you logged in, and cookies set by Paddle during checkout and by Cloudflare's bot check on our forms. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or other cookies in the future, we will update this policy first.
Our site does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, because we do not track visitors across other websites.
8. Where data is stored and how we protect it
We store data with our hosting provider in the United States. Some service providers, such as Paddle, may process data in other countries.
We protect information with measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, encrypted calendar links, limits on login attempts, and administrative access limited to authorized personnel. No system is perfectly secure. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
9. How long we keep information
- Account data: while your account is open. After your subscription ends, your account stays inactive for 12 months so you can return, and is then deleted, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
- Calendar links: deleted when you remove them, or within 30 days after your subscription ends.
- Estimate-tool information: until you unsubscribe, or 24 months after your last request, whichever comes first.
- Outreach contacts: until you opt out, or 24 months after our last contact with you, whichever comes first.
- Do-not-contact list: kept indefinitely, so we can keep honoring your opt-out.
- Logs: 90 days, unless we need them longer to investigate a security issue.
- Records required for accounting, tax, legal, or dispute purposes: as long as the law requires.
- Backups: deleted information may remain in backups until they are overwritten, within 30 days.
10. Deleting your account and your choices
- Delete your account: email support@rvyield.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. If your subscription is still active, we will cancel it (see our Refund Policy for how cancellation works). We delete your account data within 30 days of confirming your request, except information we must keep for the reasons listed in Section 9.
- Access and correction: you can view and update most of your information in your host portal, or ask us to do it for you.
- Marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. While you subscribe, we will still send emails needed to provide the Service, such as account notices, billing notices, and your digests.
- Privacy rights: depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. We honor these requests for everyone, wherever they live. Email support@rvyield.com. We may confirm your identity first, usually by corresponding with the email address on file, and we will respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent, and we may ask for proof of that authorization.
11. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. If we make material changes, we will notify subscribers by email or in the host portal before the changes take effect.
