Rock Fest, Cadott: a guide for RV rental hosts
Rock Fest is a three-day rock and metal festival: five stages and more than 80 bands on 360 acres, with 7,500 campsites within walking distance of the concert grounds. (Rock Fest, History; Rock Fest, Camping) Below is what a host delivering a rental needs to know, from the event's own pages and the other public pages linked beside each fact.
Dates
- Rock Fest had not posted its 2027 dates on its own site when we read it on September 25th, 2026. Check rock-fest.com before you hold dates. (Rock Fest, read September 25th, 2026)
- Its 2026 festival ran July 16th to 18th. (Rock Fest, Camping, read September 23rd, 2026; no longer shown there)
- Its site says campsites open to the general public on November 5th, after Rock-It Club members get first pick in October. (Rock Fest, read September 25th, 2026)
Delivering a rental
- The camping page gives renters a message to send the RV's owner: deliver the camper on the Sunday before the festival, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., or on the Monday or Tuesday, noon to 8 p.m., and pick it up any time on the Sunday after the festival. The renter mails you the camper sticker, which you need to drop off. (Rock Fest, Camping)
- Don't put the sticker on the rig until it is parked at the campsite. From Wednesday at 9 a.m., anyone entering the campgrounds needs a festival wristband, a Camp Access Pass, a camper sticker and a vehicle sticker. (Rock Fest, FAQs)
- Camping units must be out by 4 p.m. on the Thursday after the festival. (Rock Fest, Camping)
What the rig will face on site
- A general campsite is 18 by 40 feet, for one vehicle, one sleeping unit and up to six people, with no electricity or water. (Rock Fest, Camping)
- Electric sites, in named rows, have a 30-amp and a 15-amp hook-up, and the power comes on around noon on the Wednesday. (Rock Fest, Camping)
- Quiet hours are 2:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. Generators louder than 60 dB at 10 feet must be off then; quieter ones may run around the clock. (Rock Fest, Camping)
How far it is from you
| Distance | Towns in that range |
|---|---|
| Under 50 miles | Chippewa Falls · Eau Claire · Ladysmith · Menomonie |
| 50 to 100 miles | River Falls · Wausau · Hudson · La Crosse · Stevens Point · Rochester, MN |
| 100 to 150 miles | Wisconsin Dells · Superior · Duluth, MN · Appleton · Oshkosh |
| 150 to 200 miles | Madison · Fond du Lac · Green Bay · Sheboygan · Janesville |
Straight-line miles from each town's center to the center of Cadott, which is near the festival grounds. Driving distance is longer. A town within a few miles of a range's edge is left out, because it could fall on either side.

What RVYield adds
A subscriber's report covers events like this one for each of their own rigs, from their own hub: what to charge and how long a stay to ask for. Those figures are what subscribers pay for, so they are in the report, not on this page.
