Country Thunder Wisconsin 2027: a guide for RV rental hosts
Country Thunder Wisconsin is a festival with its own campgrounds. A standard campsite does not include festival admission, and admission is needed to reach one (Crown sites come with two Platinum Experience tickets). (Country Thunder, Event Information; Country Thunder, Tickets & Camping) Below is what a host delivering a rental needs to know, from the event's own pages and the other public pages linked beside each fact.
Dates
Thursday, July 15th to Sunday, July 18th, 2027, according to Country Thunder Wisconsin. Organizers do move their dates, so check their site before you hold yours.
Delivering a rental
- Whoever drives the RV in needs a Camper Drop-Off pass to enter without festival admission. The event information page asks the person having the RV delivered to buy it, and the policies page addresses whoever drops off, so agree with your renter which of you buys it. (Country Thunder, Event Information; Country Thunder, Policies)
- The driver needs the full campsite details: the site holder, the campground, the row and the site number. (Country Thunder, Tickets & Camping)
- The page allows deliveries on two days only: Wednesday, July 16th or Thursday, July 17th. Those dates fell on a Wednesday and a Thursday in 2025, not in 2027, so the line looks carried over from an earlier year. Confirm the 2027 delivery days with the organizer before you plan a drop-off. (Country Thunder, Event Information)
- Each campsite is registered to one adult, 18 or older. (Country Thunder, Policies)
- The tickets page is already selling 2027 campsites, each with the right to renew for 2028. (Country Thunder, Tickets & Camping)
What the rig will face on site
- A campsite is sold for the whole festival, never for single nights. (Country Thunder, Event Information)
- A standard campsite is primitive, 19 by 40 feet. A limited number of Big Rig sites are 25 by 45 feet with 30-amp electric and water, and Crown sites are 20 by 40 feet with 50-amp power, water and one septic service. (Country Thunder, Tickets & Camping)
- A unit bigger than its site needs two sites side by side, and slide-outs may not reach into a neighboring site. (Country Thunder, Policies)
- An RV counts as the site's one vehicle; a towed trailer needs no vehicle pass. (Country Thunder, Policies)
- Generators may run from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. (Country Thunder, Policies)
How far it is from you
| Distance | Towns in that range |
|---|---|
| Under 50 miles | Lake Geneva · Kenosha · Waukegan, IL · Racine · Milwaukee · Janesville |
| 50 to 100 miles | Chicago, IL · West Bend · Madison · Fond du Lac · Sheboygan |
| 100 to 150 miles | Wisconsin Dells · Manitowoc · Neenah · Appleton · Dubuque, IA · Green Bay |
| 150 to 200 miles | Sturgeon Bay · La Crosse · Marshfield · Wausau |
Straight-line miles from each town's center to Twin Lakes, near the festival grounds. Driving distance is longer. A town within a few miles of a range's edge is left out, because it could fall on either side.

What RVYield adds
A subscriber's report covers events like this one for each of their own rigs, from their own hub: what to charge and how long a stay to ask for. Those figures are what subscribers pay for, so they are in the report, not on this page.

Every event fact above comes from the page linked beside it, read on September 25th, 2026 unless marked otherwise; the distance table is our own straight-line measurement.
